Crain SVR 25-Foot Fiberglass Grade Rod 98010
The Crain SVR 25-Foot Fiberglass Grade Rod 98010 offers construction and surveying professionals all the features of Crain's line of Surveyor (SVR) Series Leveling Rods. A unique rectangular-oval shape, laser and optical functionality, anti-jam button locks, and shorter collapsed length are just some of the features you will enjoy with this leveling rod.
Easy-to-Read Graduations and Durability
Alternating black and red graduations in feet, tenths, and hundredths of a foot simplify the process of taking measurements. A white background makes the graduations easy to read. Adjust this grade rod's six sections to select your desired length and secure the length with special button locks that also protect your grade rod by locking out dust and dirt that can cause sections to jam. When you finish the job, release the locks and collapse your grade rod from 25 feet down to just 58.5 inches. Constructed of fiberglass, this Seco leveling rod is also stabilized with ribs for reinforcement. These features make your grade rod waterproof, non-conductive, and wear-resistant. You can attach accessories to your grade rod with its 1/4 x 20 female adapter. Along with the Crain SVR 25-Foot Fiberglass Grade Rod, you will also receive a carrying bag and a 1-year warranty.

Improved Locking Mechanism
The newly redesigned locking mechanism now features round buttons. Tight and accurate, the lock is specifically designed to resist jamming from sand and dirt.
Easy to Disassemble
Simply press the lock buttons and pull the sections out. To further disassemble, a Phillips screwdriver is needed.

The SVR Series features a newly redesigned locking mechanism that is tight and accurate, a unique shape, a special measuring scale, compatibility with laser levels and EDM systems. The SVR has a rectangular-oval shape, and is flat on the front and back with round corners. This convenient shape prevents the scale from rolling, making observation much easier, and is easy on the hands. The rod is also water-proof, corrosion-resistant, and non-conductive.
Advanced Measuring Capabilities
In addition to being a leveling rod on the front, the SVR rod has a measuring scale on the back (with the exception of the dual-scaled rods) that allows the user to read overall height measurements at eye level, which is useful in making clearance and height measurements. Also, on the back-side with the measuring scale, there are alternate 1' red and white markings that are suitable for stadia purposes.
