Striking Head™
This tool is designed to break through tightly packed or frozen soils. It is available in two versions:
- Standard: 3/8" Shaft
- Heavy Duty: 1/2" Shaft
The improved 2" wide hex head is integrated with an 11" wide handle. The hex head is designed for striking with a maul. Weighing an additional 3 lbs., the hex head has been lengthened and counterbored to enhance durability and longevity, particularly at the head and rod transition point.

- A 3-pound hexagonal striking head for striking with a maul
- Extra Heavy Duty design for increased pounding power
- Special alloy steel heat-treated for added durability
- Striking head and shaft are threaded for a secure connection
