The DML2000-XRM is equipped with a 3-1/2 digit LCD Panel Meter, ranging from 0 to ±1999, which provides operators with a precise, numeric visualization of the instrument’s output frequency changes. This feature allows for the highest resolution display of any magnetic locator on the market, accompanied by a separate polarity indicator to aid experienced professionals in accurate detection.
Understanding the display readings:
- When the panel meter peaks and the polarity changes, it typically indicates that you are directly over the end of a pipe section, such as a weld or "Bell" joint.
- A polarity change at minimum meter readings suggests positioning over the midpoint of a pipe section.
Optimal Performance in Demanding Conditions
Designed to perform in the toughest environments, the DML2000-XRM operates effectively across a temperature range from -20°F to +120°F and is fully operational even in heavy rain or submerged in water up to 3 feet deep.
